Webster Isley Drollinger, only son of Tillman Drollinger and Sarah Hershberger Drollinger, was born near Veedersburg on the late Reuben Drollinger farm, August 2 1862. He passed to the Great Beyond Wednesday morning, May 7, 1930 at 4 o'clock at his home on Scott's Prairie where he has lived for more than forty years. His health had failing for more than a year. While a young man, under the able preaching of Brother Clay Castle, he united with the Scott's Prairie Christian church. He held this sacred membership until his death. He loved his Lord, the church and stood firm for its uplifting powers. He was united in marriage to Caroline L. Caldwell February 10 1884. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, one sister, Mrs. Will Leonard of Humboldt, Kansas. Nine children, Cade C. of Veedersburg; Ruth Orme, Danville, Ill.; Oval, Hammond; Myra Bowers, Covington, Velma at home; Magdalene, Ridge Farm, Ill.; Avanelle, Oliver and Harry at home. eight grandchildren. One son, Cash, preceded him in death the year 1904 at the age of 10 years. Buried: Bonebrake Cemeter, Van Buren Twp, in Fountain Co IN.
